Sora yawned loudly, stretching his arms, looking around lazily. He walked into the Secret Place, that Riku had discovered. He brushed past the vines as he walked through, yawning again. He planned to escape for a while and rest. He felt his way along the stone wall, taking care not to trip over the rocks. He didn't even bother to let his eyes adjust, for sleep would come soon. He walked over to a corner nearing a rock with a picture of the sun, that blurred with every breath he took. He plopped down onto the ground, and yawned one last time. He quickly fell asleep, leaning against the rock.

"Sora?" Kairi asked as she walked over to the quiet tree filled area, and looked around, seeing quite easily because of the shade. She didn't see him anywhere. He wasn't beneath the coconut trees... He wasn't hiding behind any boxes... "Argh, where is he..." She sighed disappointed, looking around. She climbed up some ledges, annoyed, and saw he wasn't hiding in the trees either. "...I'll go look for him, he should know not to keep a lady waiting!" She mumbled upset. He always does this... She continued grumbling as she jumped down from the ledges and started walking, but once she had gotten to the other side of the island, and still not having found him, her worry increased.

"Sora!" She shouted. "Hey, Sora!" She yelled a little louder. "Sora? Sora!" She shouted his name with almost every step she took. She scoured the entire beach, then looked again, but still did not see him. She headed closer to the center of the island, brushing through the trees and bushes, but never found him. "Argh, where is he!" She sighed. Did he climb up a tree? She mumbled, kicking one, but quickly realized her mistake, as her foot all but cried out in pain, "Ow!" She stayed silent for a few moments, rubbing her foot.

"...I'll just look around a while longer..." She sighed, as she got up. She looked towards the nearby ledges, leading towards the part of the island she had not yet explored. She walked towards them and climbed up the ledges, disdainfully. UGH! Maybe I should start wearing jeans... She looked down at her dress regretfully, but started walking around. "Sora!" She paused waiting for an answer, but there was none, "Sora?" She whispered, getting worried again. "Sora!" She shouted, "Come on! Sora! Where are you? Sora!" She looked around some more, the sound of the waterfall drew her eyes close to it. Wait, what was that? She looked back, and her eyes fell on some vines, for at the bottom they were cut. "...Huh...?" She mumbled softly, and walked over to it, almost tripping but quickly caught her balance before she fell into a bush, which would of been bad because it seemed to be weak, as though something keeps pushing it down. She gasped, for the sun shone at just right at that moment, and she saw that there was a secret passage or something. "...Sora must be in here!" She nodded, sure of herself, walking through the vines.

When she reached an open area, she gasped, for there were doodles in white all over the rocks. "Wow..." She whispered, in shock. She looked around, taking in all the drawings. One was of the sun... One was of the island... One was of the beach... ...A boy... Wait. Sora!   She looked back and heard his snores.

"Sora!!" She ran over, and kicked him in her anger, startling him awake. "Sheesh, here I was worried about you, but you're just goofing off!"

Sora blinked for a few moments and lifted a hand to wipe the sleep out of his eyes. As he did, the person in front of him became a little less blurry. "Kai...!" He started to say her name, but then took in where he was. "AHHH!" Sora shouted, causing Kairi  to gasp. "K-KAIRI! H-HOW DID YOU GET HERE!?" Sora jumped up.

"...Huh?" Kairi stared, "I walked through some vines to get in." She spoke, but was quickly cut off again.

"Crap! Riku is going to kill me...!" Sora's voice was still high pitched.

"Huh? Why?" Kairi stared in shock at his reaction.

"Because this is my and Riku's secret area!" Sora explained, rapidly.

"I... I didn't know! You didn't show up so I went looking for you...!" Kairi mumbled, looking down. I didn't mean to get him in trouble with Riku...

"...Don't tell Riku." Sora's voice started to tone down. "Or anyone."

"...I won't." Kairi nodded, agreeing quickly to keep him calm.

"Do you promise?" Sora asked, his eyes losing their scared look.

"I promise." Kairi nodded again.

"Okay, then I'll let you in because you're special!" Sora grinned, the worry almost gone from his face, and the remaining traces were disappearing.

"Okay!" Kairi grinned back, happily, but her smile disappeared as their lapsed into silence.

After a few moments of silence, Kairi spoke her voice quick and soft, "Hey, Sora?"

"Huh? What is it, Kairi?" Sora turned to look at her, his blue eyes curious.

"How did you do all these drawings?" Kairi asked, curiously, glancing around. "I mean, white out and markers couldn't look so natural... Did you use pencils?"

"Nope! I'll show you how! It's easy, just get something to scruff the rock. Actually, you can try too! Here, take this!" Sora reached down to pick up one of the sharp stones he and Riku use to doodle on the walls with.

"...Okay!" Kairi nodded grinning, accepting the stone, as Sora grabbed his own.

They walked over to the same stone, almost bumping into each other, and burst out laughing, although they sat down next to each other, and started to mark one of the only un-drawn on rock.

Sora and Kairi were silent for a while, but then he accidently dropped his piece of stone, and when he went to look it, he saw what Kairi had drawn.

Himself.

Just as he had drawn her.

"K...Kairi..." Sora whispered, shocked.

"Hm? What is it, Sora?" She turned her face to glance at him, as he quickly picked up his stone, and pointed at what she had drawn, and at what he had drawn.

Kairi looked at what he had drawn, and giggled. "Wow, Sora, you're a good artist!" She smiled, pretending to completly forget the point.

"...Y-yeah...! Thanks!!" Sora grinned, forgetting the reason he had brought it up.

"Hehe! You're welcome, Sora!" Kairi smiled laughing a little.

"...Y-you're a good artist too, Kairi!" Sora smiled.

"R-really?" Kairi blushed, "I... I dunno..." Kairi looked at her drawing, then glanced at Sora's drawing.

"...It's good, really! Really, really, really good!" Sora overdid it, as usual.

"Y-you... You really think so?" Kairi mumbled again.

"Of course!!" Sora nodded.

"...Thanks..." Kairi blushed.

"Sure!" Sora nodded, grinning, then seemed to remember something. "Agh, Kairi!" Sora gasped.

"Hm? What is it, Sora?" Kairi asked, looking up, noticing his face was pale.

"You have to get out of here! Riku's coming!" He spoke quickly.

"Huh? How do you know?" Kairi stared blankly.

"Today's Wednesday right? Riku and I always come out to hang out here at 2PM! It's almost 1PM now. He might be early..." Sora explained, slowing down as he spoke.

"Oh... Okay." Kairi nodded, "See you later, Sora!" Kairi grinned and ran off.

"Yeah, see yah!" Sora grinned, waving his arm wildly, hitting himself in the head, and he fell over. Kairi laughed, but walked out grinning. Sora sighed.

"...My head hurts."
